My girls are growing up so fast and getting way too big! Lily had her first dance class yesterday. She had so much fun--she had a huge grin on her face the whole time, and when it was over she told me, "That was AWESOME!". She also had her first week of preschool. On Tuesday, my mom took her to drop in and meet Mrs. Williams, her teacher (who happens to be the mother of a student I had last year!). She came home raving about how much fun she had (and my mom said she didn't want to leave). I took her to school today. We had a special breakfast together at Firstwatch (Lily's favorite) and then she went to class for an hour while we had "parent cafe" in the gym. Again, she left raving about what a great time she had, especially with her new BFF, Samantha, who's favorite color is orange, loves Doc McStuffins, and who was also wearing sparkly silver shoes, like Lily, today ;). She can't wait to go back next week!
Lanie is also getting way too big, way too fast! I just can't believe that she's nine months old already. She's taking after Lily in size at this age. We'll find out tomorrow at her check up, but I'm willing to bet she's in the top 90th percentile for weight and height. Most people can't believe she's only nine months when they ask how old she is! She's also crawling super-fast everywhere and I won't be surprised if she starts walking this month! Slow it down, sister!! Her latest thing is waving. She even waves to the pictures of her "mamaws and pawpaws" on the wall. It's so stinkin' cute! I just love listening to her laugh, especially at Lily. She always laughs especially hard for Lily :). I love that they have each other <3
